Glue Store wanted to bring to life a new premium fashion website with the integration of all the new conveniences of a modern

e-commerce platform. The new platform included click & collect, various payment options, live chat, intelligent search and on-site personalisation.

About Glue Store

Glue Store is the original Australian ‘House of Brands’ premium retailer that delivers on-trend clothing, shoes and accessories from an aspirational brand assortment that empowers individuals to be fashion leaders and embrace their lifestyles.

The process

The client came to us with a clear understanding of their users’ pain-points based on existing knowledge and data analytics. With this information, we collaborated together to solve those issues using different ideas and research. 

Focusing on mobile, we first conducted a competitive analysis, and created a visual moodboard to explore solutions and get a new visual direction. 

Different meetings and presentations led us to design a more premium website with new features to improve conversion.

Stock availability, shipping, and click and collect

Creation of a module to check product availability. Based on postcode, it shows in which of your closest stores the product is available.


Size selection was included in stock levels to inform availability.

We also designed a custom checkout experience to maximise choice, that included Click & Collect, Australia Post collection, advanced address validation and multi-buy discounts.

New shopping journey for returning users

Designed different views of content and product recommendations, segmented from what they have previously bought/viewed.

  • Header with tabs, for women and men to redirect users to the right path, auto selected depending on the data.

  • Blocks on Homepage to introduce products

  • Recommending products that are similar to their recently viewed.

  • Banners on Category page to promote new collections or featured products.


All those integrations were dynamic based on users data and behaviour.

Cross selling and upselling

Introduction of AI-driven product recommendations across all pages based on website and email interactions.

We included “Pair with it”, where we recommended products to complete the look.

Quick add

From any page of the website you can “add to cart” by selecting your size when hovering over the product images.

Shoppable Blog

Blog articles about new trendings or brands included products that can be purchased from the page, also inviting customers to visit specific collections pages.

Brand Pages

The existing design of the Glue store website did not embody their image as a “House of Brands”, so we created a brands page directory where customers could search brands and from here be linked to a brand page that included products, categories and information about the brand.


These also helped us to bring more traffic to the website for the content created.
